A try-out camp for aspiring basketball players will open in Las Vegas on July 10,2009. The camp will be open for three days and up to 100 players will get a chance to show themselves to coaches and general managers from around the world. The event will be held at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy and entrants may apply at www.tarvisiocamp.com. As of this writing there were still a few openings left, but in today's economy, with jobs so hard to find,interest is high. At the camp the player will have ample opportunity to not only show his skills but meet with NBA agents,General Managers and Scouts to discuss a future in their organization and possibly to negotiate and sign a contract.
